It would have been very bad manners to have a blog about games and not post a top like this one. We all have our favorite game girl characters - some may be hot, some may be less so, but after all hotness is extremely relative. To prove this, there's a saying: "all women are beautiful when you look at them through the bottom of a pint of beer". And even though I'm not drunk at the moment of writing this, keep in mind that this top only reflects my personal opinion on the topic.
10. Zelda (The Legend of Zelda)
Well, there's not much to say here, really. Zelda was a character that must have showed up here no matter what. Not necessarily because of her hotness, but because she's an icon in the gaming world. Enough said.
9. Alyx Vance (Half-Life 2)
I don't know whether the reason I chose Alyx to occupy the 9th place was because she's hot or because of the game and how she shows emotions in a unique way for a game character. Either way, she looks good enough to deserve this spot.
8. Kasumi (Dead or Alive)
I'm not a big fan of anime-ish characters, but dressing a character with summary clothing will get it to a top ten list. What can I say, we're men and we're attracted to (half) naked women - be them real or virtual.
7. Yuna (Final Fantasy)
I think what made me put Yuna in the 7th place was not really her hotness, but rather her cuteness. Either way, her apparent innocence makes her pretty hot, in my opinion.
6. Alicia Claus (Bullet Witch)
A beautiful women with a nice body and sexy clothes is bound to appeal to men. Make her a bad-ass demon fighting chick and you guaranteed her 6th place in my list.
5. Tifa Lockhart (Final Fantasy)
If Yuna is the "bring her to meet your parents" type, Tifa is the other kind. The one you'd like to take home for yourself and do your thing with her. She's the sexy-time kind of hot.
4. Rayne (BloodRayne)
Let's be honest, who doesn't dig a half vampire - half human hybrid that fights everything from Nazis to huge ugly monsters? She's the sexiest kind of sexy and, added the fact that I really enjoyed playing BloodRayne, it makes for a well worth 4th place.
3. Lara Croft (Tomb Raider)
Ohh, now we're getting to the serious stuff. Angelina Jolie or not, Lara Croft sure does deserve the bronze medal. Maybe even better, but let's just leave it at that for now.
2. Miranda Lawson (Mass Effect 2)
This is the most subjective choice from the entire top. The character isn't that hot to be worth the second place just by itself, but there's one major factor here that changes the rules of the game. Miranda Lawson was modeled after (and played by) Yvonne Strahovski, an amazingly hot actress and model. And considering the character is supposed to look like Yvonne... here she is, winning the silver medal.
1. Faith Connors (Mirror's Edge)
And my favorite female character is Faith Connors, to which I award a much deserved virtual gold medal. All I can say about her is that she's hot, hot, hot, hot, hot, hot, hot! There's no doubt that she won't be removed from the first place any time soon, as she's perfectly hot. Who else would deserve this spot if not a beautiful, sexy game character that's also an athlete? I'm only sorry that she's not real.
