A few days ago The Last of Us developer Naughty Dog announced that their game will feature a multiplayer mode. There aren't many details on this, but let's analyze things a bit and see what we can come up with.
Considering the single player mode has a non-customizable player controlled character, the multiplayer will very likely allow the gamers to control one of the various NPCs from the single-player.
We already know that there will be more than one faction of Survivors - some peaceful and some hostile. Therefore, the multiplayer mode might allow both co-op and some sort of deathmatch mode.
Muliplayer mode aside, I'd also like to tell you something else about this game. Since my last post about The Last of Us, it has received numerous awards, such as IGN's Best of E3: Best PS3 Game, Machinima: Best of E3 2012: Best of Show, and Gamesradar: Most Valuable Game of E3 2012. Of course, the list doesn't even get close to stopping here.
