Later this year, or in the worst case early 2013, an amazing game will be released by Naughty Dog: The Last of Us.
A "genre-defining experience", as defined by the co-president of the aforementioned game developer, The Last of Us is an action-adventure survival third person game set in a post-apocalyptic Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and the surrounding areas.
The main characters are Joel (player-controlled character) and 14 year old NPC ally Ellie. There are two types of enemy characters that were confirmed so far: The Infected (zombie-like humans that were infected by some kind of a fungus) and The Survivors (humans that were not infected and would do anything to survive - including killing and looting every living human being).

I personally am looking forward with great excitement for The Last of Us to be released and will sure as heck have a lot of fun playing it.
